Often news reporters are highly skillful at being biased, being able to twist the facts so subtly to fit their narrative (example: BBC). At other times, news bias is just silly as in this headline from a local CBS news channel:
The headline reads "Popular NY Dem Suozzi concedes defeat" and refers to Democrat Tom Suozzi's loss to Republican Edward Mangano for the county executive position in Nassau County on NY's Long Island.
If Democrat Suozzi were actually the "popular" candidate in the race, don't you think he would have won the election?
Hat tip: James Taranto.
