With enough gov't spending, murderers will become nice people

The Detroit News reports on a felony murder case of an infant by her mother and the mother's boyfriend:

Authorities believe the infant girl, Asia Wyatt, was beaten to death at a home in the 600 block of Prentis on Dec. 24. The girl's 21-year-old mother then concealed the death for about a day before calling EMS on Dec. 25, Detroit Police 2nd Deputy Chief John Roach said.

"The facts of this case will be revealed in court," Wayne County Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy said in a statement today. "While I understand that parenting classes cannot be mandatory before parenting children, too many cases are occurring in Wayne County."

Murders can be prevented by classroom lectures? Doesn't that sound about as plausible as having been able to stop Hilter with more of Chamberlain's diplomacy, or as stopping Iran's nuclear development by offering to be nice to them.
