O'Donnell "wins"

In 279 BC, King Pyrrhus of Epirus (right) defeated the Roman army. Upon being congratulated for his victory, the king, himself wounded, his baggage plundered, and his armies decimated, reportedly replied:
"One more such victory and I am undone"
The war was so costly that he could not celebrate winning it. Similarly tonight, with 100% of the precincts reporting, tea-party favorite Christine O'Donnell has defeated RINO Michael Castle by 53.1% to 46.9%. The primary battle was bruising. Some will say that the attacks on O'Donnell were unfair. However, when the Democrats start attacking her this Fall, it is unlikely that they will restrict themselves to "fair" attacks.

What would the outcome look like in the finals if all of the people who voted for O'Donnell and all of the people who voted for Castle, voted for O'Donnell?

Why would an "R" voting for the marxist-progressive freedom sappers be an improvment?

A more important question thqt is beginning to nag at me....

Why in God's Name is a blog that puts scare-quotes around the word 'win' in references to a bonifide anti-DIABLO elimination on my "must Read" list?

Larry, if she wins in November, that is, of course, the best possible result.

I am surprised you didn't put scare-quotes around "if" since she and her supporters have to fight the Democrats, the Republicans, the Marxists, the FEC, and you.

The good news is: she will do it.

The Establishment Effetes are living on borrowed time--we will find a way to get support to her without Rove and the rest of you.

Down to the last 8 cents.
